This location is special for many reasons and the most important reason is that it's the tallest waterfall in all of Europe! That's a lot to live up to in a country that's not lacking in plunging falls, but this particular spot does not disappoint.

How to get there

This image was taken at the base of Krimml Waterfalls. To get to this location, you'll need to drive. You can park in the public lot Parkplatz P4 Wasser Welten Krimml (47.213984, 12.168233) and then walk south toward the waterfall. There will be signs that lead the way and it'll be about a 15-minute walk. Once you're there, reference the GPS coordinates to see where I stood for this perspective. I had my model stand directly ahead of me.
