When to go
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
As long as the weather is mild, the Alice Marble Tennis Courts can be photographed during any month of the year.
Morning is the best time to go to the courts because the soft light will come through the nearby houses and create interesting light. You can also find similar lighting conditions in the mid-day and late-afternoon as long as the light isn't too harsh.
Field tips
Before flying a drone, check and follow local drone regulations and permit requirements.
Be mindful of people playing sports and dogs that are nearby at the dog park.
Move your drone around to find different side angles and experiment with look downs. The courts are photogenic from all sides, so try out various viewpoints and find your favorite perspective.
Try to get your drone high enough so that you incorporate Lombard Street in the background of your composition.
