When to go
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
The city look rarely changes seasonally, so you can photograph the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility during any month.
Take a drone shot during the morning, midday or late afternoon to capture the architecture when it's well lit.
Field tips
Before flying a drone, check and follow local drone regulations and permit requirements. There are many electrical wires in this area, so be aware when flying your drone and avoid flying directly up since the wires are short.
Try positioning the drone in the center of the building to create symmetry. This perspective will also allow you to create a focal point and it'll draw the eye to the middle of the circular structure.
The architecture in this image moves — which makes for amazing video footage with your drone! As you lower and lift your drone while it's in video mode, you'll be able to film the movement of the building as it goes around and around.
