Situated at the base of some of England's highest cliffs, this lighthouse is surrounded by the clear blue ocean, isolated from any commercial boat tours. It can only be admired from the distance, which makes it such a magical, spectacular, breathtaking and awe-inspiring place!

This image of the Beachy Head Lighthouse, which is on the shore of the English Channel, was taken from the cliffs along S Downs Way. I recommend parking off of S Downs Way (50.737317, 0.243814) and then walking to the GPS coordinates to get to the cliffside.
Keep a safe distance from the edge of the cliff. Please refrain from sitting on the edge of the cliff top as it is incredibly dangerous.

When to go
Best season
All months
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
Although the weather can affect this cliff view of Beachy Head Lighthouse and the English Channel, it won't change seasonally. As there's no vegetation seen in the image, it won't matter what time of the year you visit.
Visit this location during the day for the best natural lighting. For reference, I shot this image midday.
If the skies are clear, this is a great spot to catch sunrise or sunset.
Field tips
Keep a safe distance from the edge of the cliff. Please refrain from sitting on the edge of the cliff top as it is incredibly dangerous.
I recommend using a wide-angle lens (31mm) to capture the expansiveness of the channel.
Find a frame that shows nothing but the lighthouse and ocean for a minimalist image. You can also use the grassy cliff as a foreground, too.
Be patient and wait for some exciting wave activity!

Do nearby
Visit the Seven Sisters Cliffs, which is fairly close to Beachy Head Lighthouse and also within the South Downs National Park. The National Park is expansive and offers incredible views that are ideal for nature photography. They also have traditional country pubs and vineyards in the bounds of the park if you want to rest and grab a drink.
