The Scoop at More London view of Tower Bridge

The photo was taken at the amphitheater at The Scoop at More London, facing east toward Tower Bridge. Coming from London Bridge (Tooley Street), walk east and then turn left at More London Place. Pass all of the shops and cafes until you reach the water fountains. Continue to walk further down, making sure you don't pass the City Hall building. The Scoop at More London is situated just by the side of City Hall. By London Underground: - Closest Station: Tower Bridge (via Jubilee or Northern)

Summer will have the best outdoor weather conditions, but you can photograph The Scoop at More London during any month of the year. I recommend checking out the amphitheater's events calendar. Open-air musical performances are available in July, theatre productions in August and movie screenings in September, so make sure to check that there won't be an event when you're there to take photos.

Visit this place in the early morning when there won't be an event or people around to interfere with your shot. The lighting will depend on the season, but generally morning light is best.

Face the Tower Bridge when taking this shot to get an iconic London landmark as your backdrop. A telephoto lens (70mm) will help make the distant bridge more prominent in your frame.

You can also try shooting from the bottom of the amphitheater to incorporate more of the stairs.

Have your model experiment with different postures and poses. The fluid movement of the subject will contrast nicely against the more rigid architecture.
