Underground Garage at Alexandra & Ainsworth Estate

This image was taken in the underground garage at the Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate. To get here, enter the car park via Rowley Way. This view will be on the level directly under the ground level. If you're on foot, you can walk down the car park. By London Underground: - Closest station: South Hampstead Station (via Overground) - Head south toward Loudoun Rd - Turn left onto Loudoun Rd - Turn right onto Rowley Way and take the stairs - Turn right to stay on Rowley Way - At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on Rowley Way - Turn left to stay on Rowley Way and the entrance to the garage will be on your right

All months of the year are suitable to photograph the Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate underground garage.

Light shines down into the garage during any time of the day, but I suggest visiting after 12PM to get the most direct overhead lighting.

To achieve the smoke effect, you'll need to use a fog machine or another smoking contraption (**we do not condone smoking and ask that you please exercise caution when creating any type of smoke effect**). Even without smoke, you can still create a stunningly dramatic image by simply placing your model under the light flooding into the garage.

The featured image was taken from an angle, but I also recommend standing in the center of the road and shooting straight down the line of skylights.

Experiment with walking around different sections of the garage and use the skylights as leading lines to help guide your viewer's eye.
