This image was taken along the shore of the upper part of Biscarosse Lake, which is located about an hour southwest of Bordeaux. To get here, you'll need a car. Enter the GPS into your maps system and then park in the lot called Parking-merendero on the southwest side of the upper lake of Biscarosse. From the lot, it'll be about a 13-minute walk to the shore where you'll find the single tree.
