This image was taken on the grounds of Château du Rivau, which is in the Loire region of France. When you get to the castle, reference the GPS coordinates that will lead you to where I took this photo in the gardens. The castle's website (www.chateaudurivau.com) has additional information on visiting, including how to get there. By car: - From Tours, take the A10 motorway towards Poitiers. Take exit 25 at Sainte Maure de Touraine then follow the direction of Chinon and the signs for Château du Rivau. - From Angers or Saumur, take the A85 motorway towards Tours. Take exit 5 Chinon/Bourgueil then follow the signs for Château du Rivau. By train: - Take a train from Paris to Tours or Saint Pierre des Corps (about one hour) then rent a car, take a private driver or ride on the minibus to the castle.
