Modern Apartment Complex on Fehrbelliner Straße

This picture was taken from underneath the modern apartment complex along Fehrbelliner Straße, which is directly behind Design Apartment At Potsdamer Platz. As you walk north along Fehrbelliner Straße, reference the GPS coordinates and follow them into the complex. The first step is to get inside the building, which will require a bit of patience because you'll have to wait for someone to open the door for you. Once they open the door, walk through and toward the back (south) to get to the outside. By public transportation: - Closest station: Senefelderplatz (U2 Line or N2 Bus) - Head south on Schönhauser Allee toward Kollwitzstraße - Turn left onto Schönhauser Allee - Turn right onto Fehrbelliner Str. and the destination will be on your left

Since there isn't any landscape in this shot, you can photograph the modern apartment complex along Fehrbelliner Straße during any month of the year.

Morning, midday or late afternoon will produce similar lighting conditions, but midday you'll have the best chance of someone letting you into the building.

This apartment complex is a private residence location. Please be respectful while you're shooting here and do not loiter around the inside of the building. Also, try to avoid being loud.

To best utilize the leading lines of the building, bring along a wide-angle lens (24mm), which will allow you to capture more of the structure and get a wider perspective of the scene.

Stand directly beneath the structure and then look up to get a similar view. I also suggest taking as many photos as you can and then playing around with their rotation in post processing.
