Hilton Lagoon, Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon Boardwalk & Kahanamoku Beach Look Down

avatar

Although it's a manmade beach, you'd never know it from this aerial perspective of these enticing tropical textures. The lined palm trees that pop against the white sand and the turquoise waters that ebb and flow with deep blue and green hues look stunning, not only through your lens, but also for a beautiful day at the beach. (before flying a drone, check and follow local drone regulations and permit requirements)

This drone image was taken on the Waikiki property of Hilton Hawaiian Village, looking down onto the Hilton Lagoon, Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon Boardwalk and Kahanamoku Beach. To get here, arrive at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki hotel and then walk southwest toward the lagoon, which is next to Kahanamoku Beach. You can also park in Ala Moana Bowls Parking Lot (21.281713, -157.840459) and then walk a short distance north to the lagoon. I stood next to the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon Boardwalk and launched my drone straight up. Reference the GPS coordinates and you'll be able to get to the exact spot where I stood.
