When to go
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
Since it's an interior shot, you can photograph the bar counter at Klein's Wine Cellar during any month of the year.
I think it's best to visit during the day when there's good natural light. If you don't want anyone in your shot, arrive right when the restaurant has opened.
Field tips
Please be mindful of other customers when taking your photos.
Position yourself in a corner of the dining room to take an angled shot of the bar. From this perspective, you'll be able to incorporate more of the architecture in your photo.
I shot this with a phone, but if you're using a camera, try to use a wide-angle lens.
Explore other areas of the restaurant, including the outdoor patio. I especially love being there in the winter when they set up the igloos outside.

I recommend spending more time at The Hoxton Hotel while you're there. They have a beautifully-designed lobby where you can chill and grab coffee. If the weather is nice, I also suggest heading up to their rooftop restaurant and bar called Summerly.
One of my favorite restaurants, Cafe Colette (79 Berry St), has a lush greenhouse garden where you can spend the afternoon.
If you're looking for some freshly-baked bread and pastries, make sure to visit Bakeri (150 Wythe Ave). They have some of the most delicious treats and it's only 2 blocks away from the hotel.
