9th Street Station Tunnel with Model

This image was taken underground in the 9th Street subway station. Once you get to the corner of 9th Street and 6th Avenue in the West Village, you can find the entrance to the 9th Street station building. Follow the sign that says “9th Street Station” with “To Path Trains” underneath it. After entering the passage way, you'll be able to see the unique pipeline that leads to the location of the photo.
