Like the cyberpunk dystopian theme of Blade Runner, New York has areas that pulse with similar light and energy. In the rain, the lights are amplified and the color bleeds onto the streets. Wander around Broadway Street when it's rainy and create in the night's flickering beauty.

This evening view along Broadway Street was taken during a rainy night. I stood at the intersection of W 49th Street and Broadway, looking north down the street.
The whole area is great to explore. Consider starting at the center of Times Square and navigate to the M&Ms store. Walk in circles around the blocks using the brightest lights as your guide for cool scenes to photograph at night.
By public transportation:
- Closest station: 49 St Subway Station (via N, Q, R or W lines)
- Head northwest on W 49th St toward Broadway
- Turn right onto Broadway
