Originally used as the private library of one of New York's most prominent residences, it's since been open to the public since 1924. This artistic gift to the city is well known for its vast collection of original and historic books housed in a grand study, as well as its grandeur, yet intimate, architecture.

This photo was taken in Mr. Morgan's Library at The Morgan Library & Museum. Once inside the museum, walk toward the historic library wing in the back right. After you pass through Mr. Morgan's Study and the Rotunda you will be in the library. I stood near the door and faced the right side of the room.
