The Maker Hotel Lobby

avatar
@joethommas
In the lobby of one of upstate New York's hottest design hotels, you'll find an immersion of mid-century design and historic architecture that makes for an alluring combination of past and present. The lighting and colors throughout the hotel photograph extremely well and once you step foot inside the cozy space, you'll never want to leave!

This image was taken inside The Maker Hotel, which is in Hudson, NY. I recommend either driving or taking the train to get into Hudson. When you enter the hotel off of Warren St, you'll see this view of the lobby immediately. In order to get this perspective, you'll need to be a guest at the hotel in one of their 11 rooms. You might also be able to get this shot if you're dining there. By train: - Closest station: Hudson (via Empire Service, Ethan Allen Express, Maple Leaf or VIA Rail) - Head north on Front St toward Cross St - Turn right onto Cross St - Turn left at S 2nd St - Take the stairs - Turn right onto Allen St - Turn left onto S 3rd St - Turn right onto Warren St Address: The Maker Hotel, 302 Warren St, Hudson, NY 12534
