Generally known during peak foliage season, this iconic Central Park walkway is also astonishingly beautiful in the winter when the corridor of leafless elm trees is adorned with snow.

This image was taken at The Mall in Central Park. It's the widest pedestrian pathway in the park and runs from 66th to 72nd street. The Mall is centrally located and easily accessible from the east, west or south entrance of Central Park. Enter the park at 72nd street and follow Terrace Drive until you reach Bethesda Fountain, where you will see the walkway just south of the fountain. From the south, enter at 59th Street and 5th Avenue and follow East Drive north until it intersects with Center Drive. You will find The Mall just north of the intersection. By Subway: - Closest Station: 72 Street Station (A, B or C Trains) - Head southeast on W 72nd St toward Central Park West - After entering the park, continue onto Terrace Dr - Make a left onto the path that leads to The Mall - Continue onto this path until you reach the GPS coordinates (south of Bethesda Fountain)
