Tips
When to go
Best season
October
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
To capture the foliage at its peak, visit in October.
As long as you have been permitted to enter the castle grounds, you can find similar lighting conditions during any time of the day.
Field tips
Experiment with the natural structure of the trees as a way to frame the castle in your shot.
Positioning the castle in the center of your frame will give the image a balanced and symmetrical feel.
By using a wider lens (37mm) you can easily frame the tree, castle and winding road.
