People's Park Complex Façade

Want to travel back in time? This architectural feat dates all the way back to 1973 and it was the tallest residential space of its time. The washed out yellow paint over the years certainly gave this place lots of character. I personally love how gritty it looks. (Drone) (a permit is required if flying a drone weighing more than 7kg, within 5km of an airport/military base, or higher than 200 feet)

All months of the year are suitable to photograph People’s Park Complex.
To capture the gritty yellow of the building you’ll want to visit before sundown so it’s well exposed. The morning is particularly great; if you’re lucky the sun may be beaming beautifully onto the building.

Field tips

A permit is required if flying a drone weighing more than 7kg, within 5km of an airport/military base, or higher than 200 feet.
Fly safe. Ensure you have established a stable connection with your drone before taking off. Though all you need to do is to fly up and shoot, there is a relatively strong interference in the area. Pick a good spot before taking off.
After take off you might realise that the building isn't aligned to the horizon. Tilt your gimbal and find the perfect angle so you have to do less work in post-production.
Bring or borrow a UV filter to help preserve the details of the building. It really does come in handy especially when you get harsh light bouncing off the building.
