The simplest way to arrive at this location is via the Bayfront MRT station (Downtown Line). You may also reach this location via Marina Bay Sands (follow signs towards “Gardens by the Bay”), but you will have to go down a level. By MRT: - Closest MRT Station: Bayfront (Downtown Line) - Follow signs towards “Gardens by the Bay” - Take lift or escalator to Level 1 - Exit right and walk towards the “Gardens by the Bay” - You will see the Dome on your right hand side

Visit during these months if you want to capture the sunset as it strikes this side of the dome. It will also create nice shadows onto your model.

At sunset you’ll be able to play with nice shadows and lights that fall into the exhibition space. The lighting will also not be too harsh. If you visit earlier in the day, the light may be harsh and it definitely will be hot!

I think the starburst makes this shot extra special. A DSLR will capture it best.

The sunset really creates nice shadow patterns, like broken glass shards being thrown towards the model. Get creative on how you use them!

As a backlit image you may have to bring out the exposure in post-processing (I had to).

Enjoy the greenery of Gardens by the Bay which is right behind the exhibition dome. You’re also at a good location for photographing the Marina Bay Sands!
