Leprechaun Canyon

This magnificent slot canyon boasts towering walls that gradually close in as you delve deeper. It's larger than most, offering an ideal backdrop for a photoshoot, whether it's for lifestyle or portrait. The canyon's size also makes it a fun adventure, and if you visit during the right time of year, you will be treated to a stunning display of light rays filtering through the top of the canyon.

This photo is of Leprechaun Canyon, about 2/3rds of the way through a trail, and is most obvious on your way out. From the town of Hanksville, head south. There is a pullout (38.017582, -110.537133) where you can park along Utah State Route 95, and the trail begins there. It’s quite simple to hike through the slot. It’s flat, but a little sandy and there are a few short climbs.
