This is unlike any other area in the Palouse. Steptoe Butte is one of the most popular destinations in this part of the PNW and people fly from all around the world to see the view of the rolling green hills in the spring.

This image was taken from a drive-up spot, looking onto the rolling hills of Steptoe Butte. To get to this location, you'll need a car. Reference the GPS coordinates once you're in the park to find the exact location where I stood to get this perspective of the hills. Driving directions from Seattle (about a four and a half hour drive): - Follow I-90 E and WA-26 E to Scholz Rd in Whitman County - Take Hume Rd to Steptoe Butte State Park
