When to go
This view of Regent Street from the Burberry store is accessible year round, but in order to capture the flying Christmas angels over the road, you'll need to visit in December.
My favourite time to photograph this location is at night when you'll be able to capture the illuminated lights along the street.
Field tips
Because this is a luxury shop, the security and staff will be behind you at all times. I suggest photographing quickly and communicating with them that you're not there to take professional photos.
I recommend shooting with a wide-angle lens. For reference, I shot this photo with a 15mm lens that allowed me to snap a wider perspective of the street.
Unfortunately, since you're photographing from a store, tripods are not allowed. Make sure to bump up your ISO to get a decent shutter speed, which will help with stability and the quality of your image.
Wait for a red, double-decker bus to pass through your shot to get that classic London look.

Do nearby
Regent Street has some of the best shopping, dining and people watching in London. Spend the day checking out all of the retail stores (they range from high end to low end) and then stop into one of the many restaurants or cafes for a bite to eat.
