Festival Gardens view of St. Paul's Cathedral

Spring in London is a magical time. Because of the mild weather, longer days and Londoners finally getting their post-winter smiles back, spring time is one of the best seasons to visit this iconic cathedral framed by seasonal cherry blossoms.

This image was taken from the Festival Gardens on the southeast side of St Paul's Cathedral. There's only a few trees in the Festival Gardens and the one I chose to highlight in my photo is located by the second bench on the left side of the pathway. In order to get this perspective, you'll have to stand on the bench and stick your head and lens right in the tree — just ignore the people that will stare at you! By London Underground: - Closest station: Mansion House Station (via Circle or District line) - Head west on Cannon St toward Watling Ct - Continue onto St. Paul's Churchyard and the Festival Gardens will be on your right
