Once you're inside the building, head up the stairs to the viewing platform (above the seats), then walk toward the left corner of the building. From there, you'll see this view of the pool. You can photograph the London Aquatic Centre swimming pool during any month of the year.

I took this photo in the morning, but you can also visit in the midday or the late afternoon. In the middle of the day, the sun will be at its highest, shining through the ceiling.

I recommend using a wide-angle lens (14mm) to capture the length of the roof and surrounding elements.

To enhance the fluidity of the architecture, try positioning yourself at an angle. From straight on, the building won't be as dimensional.

You can either wait for the area to have less people and achieve a cleaner shot or you can incorporate the swimmers to add some life into the frame.
