I took this photo on the walking path along Parliament Street, facing south toward The Palace of Westminster. From this view, Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs should be on your right. You can easily access this location from the London Underground. From London Underground: - Closest Station: Westminster Station (via Circle, Jubilee or District lines) - Head north on Parliament St and the destination will be on your left

You can find similar conditions year round — as long as the weather permits!

Photograph these telephone boxes anytime during the day when the area is well lit. At sunrise this touristy destination will have less people.

Try to frame Parliament between the two phone boxes. In post-processing, you can clean up the shot by removing gums on the floor and other unwanted marks.

If you want to capture this shot without people in your frame, you'll need to go straight after sunrise since it's a very touristy area and it gets busy early. Otherwise use a Neutral Density filter (6 or 10 stops) to remove unwanted people.

If you're patient, you may find something interesting cross into your frame or one of the telephone booths.

The buildings in this area are often under revitalization. Try photographing at an angle to avoid capturing any visible construction.

This location is really close to Number 10 Down Street — London's headquarters of the Government of the United Kingdom — so make sure to pay a visit to the Prime Minister while you're there!

If you continue past Number 10, you'll also see the famous Horse Guards. Take a quick selfie with them if you have time.

Head north and you'll end up in Trafalgar Square where you'll find loads of places to eat and drink.
