Regent Street St. James's Angel Lights (reflection)

The image was taken on the east side of the Regent Street St James's sidewalk, looking onto the festive lady displayed above the street. To orient yourself, stand directly across the street from Costa Coffee. From midday November to early January, you'll see the lights on full display over Regent Street.

I suggest coming to this location during sunset on a rainy day. The lights will turn on around this time and you'll be able to capture a reflective golden glow that warms up the entire photo.

Experiment with the puddles to create an intriguing reflection. With the bright light shining from above, the puddle reflections will make it seem as though the street is glowing too.

Try to incorporate a full angel in your shot to emphasize the holiday decor. It will give your image a seasonal feel that can only be captured during the winter season. A wide-angle lens (16mm) will help.
