This bridge is one of the prettiest and most iconic sights in London — and for good reason! Regardless of lens, filter, time of day, season or weather, you can always find a great composition here! At night, you can capture light trails along the bridge, lighting up the entire scene.

Tips
When to go
Best season

Best time
Night, Midnight+
Tower Bridge can be photographed all year, but make sure to check sunset times for each season so that it's dark out when you go to shoot.
To capture the illuminated light trails, I recommend visiting the bridge at night.
I also like to visit here during sunrise, sunset and blue hour.
Field tips
I shot at 12mm (full frame), so extremely wide, but you'll be able to frame the walking path and arch with a 16mm lens.
I recommend using a tripod and remote to avoid camera shake.
In order to get bus light trails, try getting your camera close to the railing and be patient for a bust to pass by. Also, slow down your shutter speed — I set mine to 3.2 seconds.
Try incorporating the 'Tower Bridge' plaque into your shot. It's a create way to give your image some location context.
