Tips
When to go
Best season
October
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
The best month to photograph the red and orange leaves is October— especially in the second half of the month when the colors are at their peak.
During the morning, mid-day and late-afternoon, you'll find similar lighting conditions.
Field tips
Positioning your subject in the middle of your photo will create a focal point that will draw the viewer's eye to the center of the image.
Enhance the vibrancy of the leaves by having your model wear a dark color. The dark clothing will also contrast nicely with the white wall, too.
Right next to this wall, there's a black door that makes for another great photo opportunity. Experiment with different perspectives and see which setting you like best.

Do nearby
If you're a fan of the movie "Notting Hill", check out Portobello Road. This famous street is where they filmed the majority of the 1999 hit. Portobello Road also has a well-known street market, so even if you aren't a fan of the movie, make sure to check it out!
Farm Girl is one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. They have an all-day brunch menu that serves fresh local fare served alongside great coffee.
Electric Cinema is another staple in the neighborhood. It's one of the oldest operating cinemas in the country and it features plush red seating and an old-style glamorous vibe.
