The Berlin-Grunewald S-Bahn Station Tunnel can be photographed all year because the weather won't influence the interior tunnel.
The lighting conditions will be the same no matter the time of day. The tunnel has lamps and its well illuminated, so it'll appear the same morning, noon and night.
Field tips
In order to capture all sides of the tunnel and it's long length, I think it's best to use a wide-angle lens. For reference, I used an 11mm focal length to achieve this shot.
Make sure to bring a tripod with you so that you can photograph a more stable image. It will also help you compose a less noisy image.
When you're in the tunnel, look up and use the tunnel's ceiling light as your leading line.
For a sense of scale, I wanted to incorporate a model in my photo. I also like the contrast between the model's dark clothing and the brick along the tunnel.

Do nearby
This location is in close proximity to many historical locations. The Memorial for holocaust Berlin transport is a park that honors the Jewish lives that were taken in World War II. Platform 17 Memorial, which is also nearby, shows a series of iron plates at Grunewald Station that mark the deportation of thousands of Jews from Berlin.
If you're looking for a more relaxed environment with some nature, visit either of these parks: a community garden along Auerbachstraße and the Carola Mielke & Erika Lehmann garden along Fontanestrasse 7A.
