Hubertus Gorge Bridge (Hubertusviadukt)

This drone image was taken above the Hubertus Gorge Bridge (Hubertusviadukt). This place is kind of tricky to find, as there are no clear signs for a trail to the bridge. My recommendation is to try and find parking close to where the forest road starts (50.239101, 7.553991) and then reference the GPS coordinates to walk from there (about a 20-minute walk). Note: You might want to use google satellite maps to navigate to this location. In this mode, you can clearly see the trail and the tunnel.

You can photograph the Hubertus Gorge Bridge (Hubertusviadukt) during any month, but in order to experience similar conditions, like the changing of the trees from green to gold, you'll need to visit in the fall. This location can also look amazing in the winter if there's a lot of snow.

At sunrise, when the sun peeks over the surrounding hills, the trees will be beautifully aglow. You can also get similar lighting conditions at sunset.

Before flying a drone, check and follow local drone regulations and permit requirements.

The view from where I stood to launch my drone is similar to what I captured in my shot. I recommend planning your shot at the lookout point before launching your drone so you know where to fly.

If you're also shooting with a camera, try to use a lens somewhere between 50mm and 85mm. The viewpoint is quite far away from the bridge, so a longer lens will help you zoom in on the scene.

Incorporating a model with the viaduct in the background of your shot is also possible. Have fun and get creative!
