I love this aerial perspective of Hana Highway because you can clearly see the winding bend in the road, which portrays what driving in Maui is really like. This drone image was taken above Hana Highway, which is also known as the Road to Hana. Hana is one long road and you can either enter from the north or south part of the island to get to where I stood for this shot. This particular viewpoint is closer to the north side of Hana and is right next to Wailua Iki Trail (20.821939, -156.135773). Park you car near the trailhead and then walk north. On the exact GPS location I provided, there's a pull-off area that can fit several cars. Proceed with caution, as there will be a lot of cars driving on the road. Finally, launch your drone above you until the bend is in the middle of Hana is in your frame.
