One Detroit Center Garage view of GM RenCen and People Mover

This view is located on the 6th floor of the One Detroit Center Garage. Once on the 6th floor you'll want to park in the far southeast corner of the garage facing Larned St and the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center. I took the featured shot from the left-most view looking down onto Larned St and the GM Renaissance Center. Parking fees (you can avoid them by parking elsewhere or getting dropped off at the garage): Mon-Fri $4 every 20 minutes; Evening Mon-Fri After 4pm $10; Max Mon-Fri $25; Max Sat-Sun $10; Event $10-$40

The only thing that changes at this view is the leaves in the fall and winter and possible snow coverage in the winter.

This view is best captured during late-afternoon when the sun casts dramatic shadows against the surrounding buildings, helping to give depth to this urban scene.

I used a general wide-angle lens (35mm) to capture the People Mover in the foreground and an intimate view of the GM Renaissance Center in the background.
