Opened just in time for 2021's summer season, Little Island is one of the city's most innovative parks along the Hudson River. It's built on a bouquet of tulip-shaped concrete columns that emerge from the water. It has walking paths, food carts and an event venue—all lined with incredible landscape architecture and scenic views of Manhattan. It's also home to almost 400 different species of grasses, shrubs, trees, and other flora.
