Seamore's Nolita Restaurant

This image of the exterior of Seamore's Nolita was taken on the corner of Mulberry and Broome Street. I stood on the southwest side of the intersection on the sidewalk along Broome St looking north toward the façade of the restaurant. There isn't any seasonal landscape in this shot, but in order to have similar conditions at Seamore's Nolita, you'll need to have mild weather.

I personally think it's best to photograph this location during the day because this building is all white and the sunlight will accentuate the architecture.

The door will be a good guide as to where you should stand. If you're in line with the entrance, then your photo will be more symmetrical.

To ensure that the architecture isn't distorted, try keeping your camera straight on, rather that at an angle.

Be patient! An occasional pedestrian may bring some interesting elements into your image, so be open to different types of compositions.

Nolita is a lively area, so there are tons of cafes, restaurants, bars and shopping options. Some of my favorites places to eat include Maman, Two Hands, Urban Backyard, BoCaphe, Ed's Lobster, Corner Deli, Ruby's, Sel Rrose and Sezane.
