In the middle of a Manhattan landmark, this interior atrium boasts the impressive architecture of one of New York's most premier museums. The flood of light pouring in from the glass ceiling, the various plants throughout the hall and the heavy columns all make for a stately scene that looks great from any angle.

Tips
When to go
Best season
All months
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
The Garden Court at The Frick Collection can be photographed during any month. Since the courtyard is covered, it'll appear lush and green all year round.
If you visit during anytime of the day, the sun will shine through the atrium skylight and you'll be able to find similar lighting conditions.
Field tips
Try to get to the museum right when it opens to make sure you can get a shot without people in your photo.
A wide-angle lens (around 16mm) should be the best focal length to frame all the symmetries in the room.
To further enhance the symmetry, I recommend aligning yourself in the center of your frame. You can use the fountain to help guide you.
