I stood facing southeast on the walking path to get an elevated view of the rink and 5th Avenue. By Subway: - Closest Station: 5 Ave Station (N, W, R trains) - Head northeast on 5th Ave toward 61st St - Turn left at E 61st St - Turn right onto East Dr - Follow East Drive toward Wollman Rink - Keep left as your approach the ice rink Confirm that the ice rink is open! Since I stood above the ice rink, you don't need to pay an entrance fee, but if you want the rink in the background, you'll have to make sure that it's open.
