One of the most impressive waterfalls in the Northwest, Salt Creek Falls thunders through the Central Oregon forest. To get to this point where you will have an exposed view of the falls, you need to pass through a trail along the forest.

This photo was taken at Salt Creek Falls. To get there, take OR-58 (Williamette Highway) and leave the highway to turn onto NF-5893. You can park your car at Salt Creek Day Use Area (43.611837, -122.127848) and follow the trail that winds through the forest until you arrive at the exposed view and GPS coordinates. Keep an eye out for the stump which makes for a great composition with a model. Be careful when maneuvering around the hillside, it can be very slippery when wet, and at times, the trail has washed out entirely.
