All months of the year are suitable to photograph the Bishan Bus Interchange.
By visiting mid-day the sunlight hits the building directly on the top and there will be minimal shadows from neighboring buildings.
Field tips
A permit is required if flying a drone weighing more than 7kg, within 5km of an airport/military base, or higher than 200 feet.
I fit the small roads beside the interchange building into my composition, almost serving as a frame to my image. Exercise your creativity and try to incorporate your surroundings.
If you have extra time, try hovering your drone above the building and wait for some buses to move in or out of the parking lanes – it can create a truly dynamic element to your shot!
