When to go
Any month works perfectly for this shot (as long as it’s not raining!)
Go mid-day between 12:00-14:00 any day of the week. At this time, the light is strongest and you’re most likely able to capture the model’s shadow and yellow vibrancy of the walls.
Field tips
Having good light is extremely important to this shot. Visiting mid-day will best position you to capture the model’s shadows and to make one side of the wall more exposed than the other, giving a three dimensional feel. If you arrive on a cloudy day or have poor light, the walls will look flat.
If your models wear similar clothing it gives the image a clean, pure and symmetrical effect.
Try coordinating the legs and steps of your models. To maintain symmetry, I made sure they moved the same leg, at the same time, and landed at the same point.
By centering the shot with the vertical line where the two walls meet in the middle, all angles appear more emphasized.
