Enabling Village view of Rest Area

This location is the Enabling Village, which is a community space for people with diverse abilities. Enter via the main entrance on Lengkok Bahru Dr and follow the path all the way down to enter the recreation area. Take the stairs on your right to Level 3 and as you walk down you will see the resting area of benches below you on your left. All months of the year are suitable to photograph this bench rest area.

I highly recommend visiting in the morning (before 10:30) to avoid the distorting shadows caused by the rising sun. I like the lines of the benches to be fine and clear, so I avoid shadows when I shoot here!

This is a hanging effect shot that I created by tilting the camera.

If you want to shoot the hanging effect, your model should act as if they are hanging onto a ledge about to fall. If they hold their legs up in space it won’t look like they’re limited by gravity. Get creative!

I used the main bench as a leading line to split the image in half and the placed a model on one side of it. I also tried to compose the benches to cross the frame corner to corner.
