The month of year has no impact on this location; the Fountain of Wealth lights up beautifully year round!
The Fountain’s lights turn on in the evening. The area is not usually overloaded with people, but expect more cars during the weekdays (less cars on weekends). Laser performances and live songs occur daily between 20:00 - 21:00.
Field tips
You need a wide angle (16-35mm) or fish-eye lens to capture the magnitude of the fountain and the massive Suntec towers in the background.
I stood on a plant container to get extra height. This allowed me to capture the entire ring into my frame and the symmetry of the Suntec towers in the background.
I used a high ISO to increase the illumination of the fountain.
