A reflection shot is best captured when the light is strong. Visit in the daytime — especially in the late-afternoon when the lighting is the most harsh.

This shot can be tricky to execute! As you take the photo with a phone camera, hold another phone or even a mirror in your other hand. Position the other phone at the bottom of the phone you're taking the photo with and you'll produce a reflection in your camera lens.

Make sure to keep both cameras as straight as possible. You want to have the horizontal and vertical axis of the picture aligned so the mirrored reflection is symmetrical.

Experiment with the rule of thirds using your phone's grid. I framed the building's reflection in the frame's bottom 1/3rd, the first and second floors with the model in the middle, and the third, fourth and fifth floors in the top 1/3rd.

You're near many restaurants, bars and shops. I recommend doing a cruise that they have along the Singapore River!
