8 Lorong 40 Geylang Rainbow Wall

This rainbow wall is the back area of a new private apartment (under construction as of June 2017), just behind the ESSO gas station found along the main road (638 Geylang Road Lorong 38). The easiest way to arrive is by car to Lorong 40 Geylang.

In sunny Singapore, all months are great to visit, but go during dry weather conditions.

Visiting mid-day is when the sunlight would make the rainbow walls look most vibrant.

By using a wide-angle lens (18mm) you can capture the long stretch of the wall.

I had the model simply lie down on the step, which is really low and not dangerous. I tilted my camera to get a different perspective. Get creative and play around with perspectives, tilting the camera as you like.

If you’re shooting a model, by wearing a solid, contrasting color they will avoid clashing with the rainbow colored background.
