Decked out in grey and white, with angular facades and sharp edges that appear to slice the very sky itself, this façade looks like right out of a futuristic dystopian movie.

- Head to exit A and walk towards the Kallang Wave Mall
- There, in front of the entrance of the mall, turn left and follow the path between the Interactive Visitor Centre and the Sports Hub Library
- Ascend up the flight of stairs and you’ll find yourself facing the North Entrance of the Indoor Stadium

Tips
When to go
Best season
All months
Best time
Mid-day, Late afternoon
The position of the sun does not affect the photo in any way. As long as the stadium is not in use, it would appear deserted; perfect for shooting.
Visit during the day or afternoon, as the area is not well lit at night.
Field tips
Use a wide-angle lens (10mm) to capture as much of the building and entrance as you can.
Stand on the grey line; with that as your center, you will be better able to ensure a symmetrical photo.
Of course, you could be a lot more creative, placing a subject in the photo to show how large the building actually is.

Do nearby
Catch the sunset at the pier by the Water Sports Centre. You can also have a meal at the nearby Kallang Wave Mall. Should the National Stadium be open (it’s open only during events), you could enter and take a look inside.
