Sol Duc Falls Trail Bridge Crossing

avatar
@michaelmatti
Through the middle of a dense, mossy and flavescent forest, this bridge is an ideal spot to capture a tranquil stream cascading through an old wooden structure as you make your way to nearby waterfalls.

This image of the bridge crossing was taken along the Sol Duc Falls Trail in Crescent. To get this perspective, I walked about halfway down the guided trail. Start off by parking at the trailhead (47.955366, -123.835878), which is located at the end of Sol Duc Road off of Highway 101. Once you're walking on the trail, head south the trail for about 1 mile until you come to this bridge. Reference the GPS coordinates to get to the exact spot where I stood. Please make sure to check that Sol Duc Road is open prior to going to this location. Call: (360) 565-3131 for more information. By car: - Head southwest on US-101 E - Turn left onto Sol Duc-Hot Springs Rd - Continue onto Sol Duc Rd
