Whether you're a tourist or a local, the superbloom is an experience everyone in California should witness at least once! Capture the millions of flowers blooming as the moon is illuminated over the mountains and stand in awe at this natural wonder. (please respect the landscape and only photograph from the street)

This photo of the flowers and moon over the mountain was taken from Henderson Canyon Rd, which offers some wonderful views from the roadside inside Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. To get to this location you'll have to enter through Anza-Borrego Desert State Park (there is a $10 vehicle charge). Once you're in the park, follow the GPS coordinates along Henderson Canyon Road to get to the exact location where I stood to take the photo. For more information on the park, see their website: https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=638 Note: Please respect the natural landscape and only photograph from the street.
