Comparable to California's Silicon Valley, this area of Berlin is known for emerging tech startups and a creative, millennial-driven environment. These towering sculptures stand out among the corporate buildings, turning slowly on their platforms as each layer of the heads spins around.

The image was taken standing directly under the "Heads, shifting" installation, photographing north east. The building in the background, which was still under construction then, is now completed.

Tips
When to go
Best season
All months
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
The "Heads, shifting" installation can be photographed during any month.
Visit the installation during the day — preferably during midday when the sunlight will brighten the heads. For a minimalist approach, go for bright and white light. At sunset there won't be enough light to bring out the details on the heads.
Field tips
To capture the different shifting of the heads' layers, I suggest taking a series of shots or doing a time-lapse, which requires a tripod.
Experiment with angles and take photos from different perspectives. There's a stage when the installation is turning and as the layers shift, you can't recognize that it's a face. It's incredibly unique!
Add a model to show a sense of scale. The sculptures are very large and having a smaller subject will enhance their stature.
