The featured image was taken from the center of a bridge on Cotton Tree Drive. The bridge connects Hong Kong Park to Three Garden Road (office building) and can be easily found — just head towards the GPS coordinate. It can be accessed from Cotton Tree Drive. By MTR: - Closest MTR staion: Central (Island Line & Tsuen Wan Line) - Take exit “L” - Turn left and then turn right at Murray Road - Go straight and you will find a bridge on Garden Road. - Cross the bridge and pass through the Three Garden Road building and you will find the bridge where I took the photo - It’ll take you around 10mins in total from the Station

Tips

When to go

Best season

Best time

Mid-day, Late afternoon
All months of the year are suitable to photograph from this bridge.
Try visiting mid-day or late-afternoon before rush hour. This way you can capture the majority of the writing on the road.

Field tips

By using a wide-angle lens (<35mm) you'll be able to capture the expansiveness of the road.
Use the grid lines on your camera to help you frame the leading lines on Cotton Tree Dr.
Be patient and wait for the perfect moment to cross your frame. I captured a single taxi — maybe you can catch three taxis, one on each lane!
