Richland Garden Estate Look Down

All months of the year are suitable to photograph the Richland Garden estate.

I recommend visiting anytime from mid-day to sunset. The sun is high enough to shine on the complex and will also create a nice shadows. Cloudy days are also nice as they make the light softer / less harsh.

This area isn’t great for drone signal so I strongly recommend flying from the Richlard Garden Car Park.

Don’t fly your drone too close to the estate or its residents. You don’t want to disturb anyone.

Try to position the towering buildings along the perimeter of your frame. If you fly too high, the building will be out of context giving your shot a very different feel.

The buildings also create lots leading lines. Experiment with different compositions other than the traditional look down!
