Choi Hung Estate Car Park Court view of Tan Fung House

I took the image on the top level of the Choi Hung Estate Car Park Basketball Court, looking onto the Tan Fung House. Using staircase #2, make your way to the top level of the parking structure and you'll find this view. Reference the GPS coordinate in satellite view for guidance. By MTR: - Closest MTR station: Choi Hung (Kwun Tong Line) - Take Exit " C3" - Turn right, then make a quick left to follow the walkway between the building and wall - At the end of the building, turn right and cross the street Address: Choi Hung Estate, 2 Tse Wai Ave, Ngau Chi Wan, Hong Kong

All months are great to photograph these colourful courts and façade, although I recommend visiting during the weekdays when it's less crowded.

Visit anytime during the day, but early morning is the most ideal time. You'll avoid the crowd and the lighting will be bright.

Be respectful of the residents at the housing estate — especially the elderly people walking around and children playing.

Experiment with different perspectives and distances! As said, many people visit this space, so if one angle is occupied, have fun and shoot from other angles.

Try incorporating the façade of the Tan Fung House into the background of your image — it adds a nice contrast.

Try venturing outside of the basketball court for the "outer" perspective. You can also try a drone shot — get creative!
